Delivery Y2K
Place datacenters to serve internet to cabins, towns, and cities across the map. Delivering internet to neighborhoods, and evolving your Internet Service Provider datacenter infrastructure along the way.
Gameplay:
- Build 1 of 3 different Datacenters adjacent to cabins, towns and cities. Depending on what buildings your datacenter is adjacent to you will gain income.
- 6 upgrades to increase effectiveness of different types of datacenters.
- Get to 20,000 money to win!
- If you run out of money you will lose. (each datacenter costs money to run)
- Mouse over a datacenter, or press the “Info” button to see information about how much money you are making.
Inspired by 4X games and a reflection on how internet speeds have increased over the past decades. We wanted to show our love for the internet and it’s various different forms over the years and mix it with a new type of game genre we hadn’t done be fore.
Maybe a different but abstract way of thinking of Delivery.
